The aim of our “Outdoor Adventure Programme” is to engage young people with autistic spectrum disorders along with their siblings and provide outdoor activities to help develop skills, capacities and capabilities to enable our young people to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible citizens and to improve health and well-being, develop their confidence and social skills.
We are engaging our young people to participate in different outdoor adventure activities that are vital for their growth and development. Young people can reap numerous health benefits from physical activity.
The session starts at 2:00pm at our offices at 34 Lower Knockbarragh Road, Rostrevor and finishes at 5:00pm. Remember to bring warm & water proof clothing in case the weather is not great but hopefully it will be. We have 20 places available (10 for Archery & 10 for Zip Line) and we would like anyone who would like to do both activities to do so.
Give us call to book your place on the number above.
We will have a bus collection point at the main bus stop in Rostrevor at 1:00pm (next to the Health Centre). £2 contribution towards fuel for those using the bus would be very much appreciated.
