Intergenerational Parliament Event
- The Northern Ireland Youth Forum, in Partnership with Politics Plus and the Age Sector Platform will be hosting an Intergenerational Parliament on the 1st October 2015.
- The Event will take place on the 1st October in Stormont. It will be chaired by the Speaker of the House, Mitchell Mcloughlin and the motion for the day will be:
- ‘That this House believes the skills and experience of older people can be transferred to the younger generation; and calls on older and younger people to value and respect the contribution each can make to society.’
- This exciting event is one of a series of Youth Participation events that the Youth Forum is involved in and will be a first for Stormont.
- The day will begin at 10.30am with refreshments with a debate taking place from 11 am -12 noon followed by lunch.
